Speaker upgrade?

I bought a Marantz HD-AMP1 on your clearance sale last year. I am using it with a pair of Wharfdale 220 speakers and am quite happy with the sound. However I wondered if it might be worth a slight upgrade of speakers to get the best from it? Do you think I would get a significant improvement from either Dali Oberon 1 or Zensor 3? I use it mainly for TV and classical music via various sources. I am not into heavy bass, and do not play at high volumes. The reason I am attracted to Dali is that I have a pair of Zensor Pico on my system in the kitchen and am very pleased with their sound. However if there is some other make you would recommend I would be glad to hear your recommendation.

    Hi Neddyk.

Thanks for coming back to us again.

Either the Zensor 3 or the Oberon 1 would be a very nice upgrade for your speakers.

The Zensor 3 are currently priced at 279 Euro - (I could offer these at 246 Euro)

The Oberon 1 coming in at 399 Euro - (I can offer these at 299 Euro)

If you wanted to go all out there are the Monitor Audio Silver 50 which retail at 569 Euro - (I could offer these at 475 Euro)

    Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks Kenny. I think I'll resist the urge to splurge on the silver 50. As between the two  Dali models I note you don't express a preference. From what I have read elsewhere however I get the impression that the Oberons would suit my circumstances better.

Which is best route to place my order?

    Hey Neddyk.

    Sorry for the delay.

The Oberon in my opinion are the better of the two models.

Thanks Kenny. The Oberons arrived yesterday. So far I'm very pleased, and believe I made the right choice.
