Alexander heads towards the engine. As he passes Fawkes door he can hear voice inside- clearly a male and a female, giggling - interesting, there was a young lady being very flirty there not too long ago. He doesn’t hang around too long as he doesn’t want to arouse the suspicion of the guard on the door.

He walks on past the next carriage. Again in one of the cabins he can hear male and female voices. He continues up to the engine.

The staff member goes a bit pale at the scene, but manages to steady himself. He looks at the Manager.

"Mr Magnuson Sir, are you alright?"

The manager looks up, obviously in a good deal of pain.

"No...can you deal with this Jan?"

"Of course Sir..." Jan turns to Jacques "...what are we dealing with...oh and qualifications all of you" he says to the room.

"Well we are dealing with one dead body, clearly. It seems to have been caused by this wound but it's not clear to me what has caused the blackening of the tissue. I mean, the blackening seems to be some form of necrosis but the exact cause of this is uncertain. I know of certain exotic snake venoms that can cause such a wound, but someone would have had to brought one of those on board. The Asian giant hornet can also causes similar effects but that seems even less likely.

My name is Jacques by the way, no need for the Sir. I'm a librarian but I have worked in the past as a medic in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. There's not much more I can tell you about this body though. My role was more to try keep people alive rather than understand how someone died, especially when they were attacked. I'm not a coroner."

He wanted to keep it somewhat vague, and didn't want to get into too much detail about his time as a medic. The interesting part of that time of his life wasn't the healing it was the puzzles that sometimes presented themselves in people's symptoms. He always had a hard time trying to put the more out-there theories (like the Asian giant hornet) to the back of his mind.

Alex - heading towards engine in Carriage 0
Sean - getting jiggy with Mizuki in Carriage 1
Eli - on top of Carriage 2 (I think) with Meryl and unknown ninja
    Meryl - as above
Otto - Carriage 3, dead from unknown means
    Jacques - Carriage 3, Chris's cabin
    Aurora - Carriage 3, Chris's cabin
Chris - Carriage 3, Chris's cabin, just vomited
Heta - about to do a sexy dance for Fawkes in Carriage 2

OOC Top of carriage 2 now.

Eli looks up and down Meryl, the name and the face are familiar....but distant, perhaps they have crossed paths in the past. Not working for anyone she says hmm not sure about that, maybe Eli shouldnt be so forthcoming with his HAMMER credentials.

Eli to Merly - "I think we need to bring him in via the window...I dont want to panic the other passengers, I dont know if there is prison cell on the train...I have boarding in car 5 and can detain and question him there (Eli knows he has to bring in bloodroot alive...and he intends to keep him that way) do you think you could help me get him there?

OOC I relise that dragging a body along the top of a train for 3 carriages isnt the most practical of jobs.....

Well I think we should go with your plan then. I thought we could use his belt and tie it around his neck. You hold onto the end of the belt and jump over to the next carriage. Then you drag and I push until he looks like a human bridge. Then I jump over and we drag him across.

But we could inadvertently kill him so maybe your idea is better. I’ll lower him onto your shoulders, jump over, you then push him up as far as you can while I pull.

Alexander slips in. He can see the cockpit up ahead of him down the narrow corridor he has entered. About him are maintenance hatches to different components of the engine itself. Six in total, three on each side of the corridor.

The cockpit is separated from this corridor by a heavy looking metal door.

Alexander considers his options. Since Jan is an arse kisser trying to impress the manager he’s unlikely to persuade them to avoid stopping the train too early. On the other hand the train is currently in the middle of nowhere- limited communication, no cell phone signal and no towns for a distance. He looks around to see if there’s anything useful here

    (OOC anything of note here?)

Alexander considers the maintenance hatches. He inspectsvthem then picks several that have electrical elements of the train and opens them, then liberally pulls out wiring in each. That should stop the train and disable radio comma for a bit he thinks.

As the train slows he scuttles back out, throwing the wires out an open carriage window and quickly heads back in the direction of his cabin

(OOC not sure if I’m meant to find other stuff in here)

In the last hatch he opens, Alexander finds a silenced pistol and a small bomb, the latter having a note in Russian "If needed".

Alexander makes it out of the engine without being seen and returns to his cabin.
