    Digne/Eriksen to Kolasinac/Sane

DGW likely to postpone getting Son in for another week.

Half thinking of giving Keane a one week punt this week. Have a FT going to waste for anyone under 5.2

Reckon he's fairly nailed on to get 4pts anyway, can't see anyone I'd fancy to get 6.

Still struggling to find a Digne replacement.

Was interested in Valery but he only got 60 minutes tonight.

Ye Digne replacement looks tough actually, Doherty/Robertson are stays so who is rotation player then- have 2 ft and his home games are tough so has be moved I think.
I'm torn between Shaw and Kola, Kola more threat of attacking but crap def- would bench this GW. Shaw had Liv in GW 37, Kola has Saints which is swinging it in his way slightly, holebas worth a look but prob not.

@BenDinnery: Pochettino confirms Heung-Min Son finished the game with cramp..... "We hope he will be fine for Newcastle." #COYS

    That's annoying
Always seems to be a reason not to get him
    As soon as I do.......

But I’m actually thinking of just getting Doherty in now. They’ve got a good run and I think they’ll push on for the rest of the season and won’t relent.

To find the money I would have to go -

Aubameyang to Lacazette (which I’d like to do if Lacazette has finally nailed down a starting and 90 minute role, which he absolutely deserves)

Or Jimenez to Niasse which I’m less inclined to do.

So my changes would leave one of the below -

4.0m defender like Bednarek, Son, Aubameyang

    Doherty, Son, Lacazette

Doherty, Son, Niasse (and Aubameyang but no Jimenez)

The above could be confusing so

    Fabianski

    TAA, Robertson, Digne

    Salah, Pogba, Sterling, Richarlison,

    Aubameyang, Jimenez, Rashford

    AWB, Bennett, Puncheon

So I’m look at getting rid of Digne and I’m bringing in Son for Richarlison after this GW

So my 3 options above might be easier to understand now.

Think I’m liking 4.0m rotating defender, Son, Aubameyang

But if Lacazette was now a guaranteed starter I’d prefer to go with him over Aubameyang

I think Lacazette is nailed on to start now, he's just more likely to get subbed than Aubameyang.

Emery will have at least one of them on the pitch at all times so if he subs Laca (which he usually does) than Aubameyang gets 90. For that reason (and pens), I think he's worth the extra 2m.

If he was to start playing one striker, I think it would be bad for both players as FPL options.

Took my first -8 of the season.

    Digne, FAnderson and Hazard ->
    Jonny, Son and Sane.

Wasn't going to worry about getting City players for the DGW, but Hazard dropping and Sane rising was going to mean a .2m swing.

Did Wilson to Aguero last night. Bit of a penchant for a DGW player. Leaves me with Sane Aguero and Richarlison for the double. May go all in and TC Sane

For those considering Laca, the arrival of Denis Suarez could reduce his game time.

What’s the odds on Danilo getting a double start? Bringing him in would allow me to also bring in Sane for a -4
    VVD & Nasri -> Danilo & Sane

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,068 ✭✭✭Tipsy McSwagger

    PEA, Wilson, Dilva Out
    Rashford, Jiminez, Sterling In
    -4

Unlikely, he had a shocker against Newcastle.

    I hope Pogba misses out
I have a major benching headache and I think my back ups are better than my rivals
I would certainly back Jota to outscore puncheon anyway.....

Hope he misses out too, I'm currently benching Jiminez and it doesn't feel right.

Thinking of using my 2Fts on Hazard (I know its Huddersfield, but Chelsea are woeful atm) and Kamara to Sane and Aguero.

I'd have to bench Jiminez (eve) or Anderson (LIV).

Sounds like a no brainer. Likewise benching Anderson ahead of Jimenez

Thinking of selling Salah and kante to fund transfers for son and eriksen considering spurs next few fixtures, or am I mad ?

Yeah, Anderson is the logical one. It's just the pessimistic Liverpool fan in me that feels I should play him :pac:

    How so ?

Would have thought he’d be playing behind the front line and more likely to replace the Ozil and Ramsey type player/role.

I just get the impression that Emery doesn't see Laca as a first choice starter and has been playing him more out of necessity than anything else. Laca's game time in big matches has been quite low recently so I get the impression that Emery doesn't see him as part of his strongest 11, I could be wrong though.

I hear ya but I don’t see it that way.

Arsenal desperately need creative midfielders to feed the strikers.

Ozil, Ramsey nor Iwobi can be relied on. Mkhi being out doesn’t help either.

For all that is wrong at Arsenal (and that’s not as much as most people think. I think Emery is doing a fantastic job and I think he’ll make a real success of it in time. Especially if they back him financially. He almost needs a new, first choice, back 4) it’s not Lacazette.

Early in the season I wasn’t sure but he’s only impressed me time and again when I’ve seen him play.

I’d be gobsmacked if he hasn’t played his way into being a permanent fixture in that first 11 for the remainder of the season at least.

i've Wilson and Digne shaped problems.

i really don't want to take -4 as i'll likely only play one of the replacements in GW25. looking at Barnes and Duffy.

i've already lost 0.5 on Wilson, but meh. thems the breaks i suppose.

    Fabianski, Boruc

    AWB, Bennett, Digne, TAA, Robertson

    Anderson, Billing, Salah, Sane, Pogba

    PEA, Jiminez, Rashford

    1 FT & 0.0m ITB

Thinking PEA to Aguero or is that too short sighted?

Anderson, TAA, Billing, Sane, Pogba & Digne all giving me headaches aswell, some bigger than others

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

    Bernard? He's not very good.

Yes I was 0.1m short for Richarlison and was looking at the Everton double up. I've swayed from Pobga and am now looking at Rashford and going for Llorente or Rondon

It's always a trap getting double gameweekers you wouldn't usually touch with a bargepole.

Kinda feel like rolling the dice. Mulling over Digne to a 4.4m def, and Ramsey to Sane for a -4. Would have Sane/Sterling/Aguero then

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,167 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Gonna get Laporte in for Digne for the craic even though we’re unlikely to see a city clean sheet next gw.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 855 ✭✭✭mectavba

Digne & Pogba > Laporte & Son.....seems to be the sensible choice.

Will give me 3 MC players for the DGW, even if I'm not convinced that is necessarily a great thing.

Get rid of any Chelsea ye have left, obviously they have downed tools for another manager,Al + Haz out for Mo + someone

Waiting to see how Fab's injury is, if he's out I'll have no keeper so might upgrade Hamer to Ryan.

Thinking of Barnes to Llorente, does it make sense or am I just chasing points ?

Any Hazard owners out there getting rid before this GW?

It seems a crazy to do so given his fixture but there is a huge temptation to take one of the city mids - KDB, Sterling or Sane look the obvious?

I’m getting rid. Probably for Sané.

Hazard has downed tools according to some on the Chelsea forums. He has ‘previous’ so inclined to believe it.

Currently mulling over a potential double transfer with my 2 FT. Looking at either of these, Firmino & Torreira out to Aguero & cheap 5th midfielder ( Camarasa likely) or the same 2 out and Sane & Llorente in? Or am I mad to get rid of Firmino ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 100 ✭✭HenrysLeftHand

Looking at offloading PEA and Fraser with my 2 free transfers. Have the following options:

    1. Jimenez and Sane in (do Richarlison and Aguero to Son and PEA next week)
    2. Jimenez and Son in (do Aguero back to PEA next week)

Currently have Richarlison and Aguero for the double game week.

Is it worth a potential 4 point hit to get Sane in basically?

    What do ye think?

    Just did it.

Feck it sure - why not?

Pickford, Keane, Ricky, Sterling Sané, Kun.

Managed to hold on to Salah for the week too.

Now just have to choose between Kun and Sterling for captain.

    PEA to Aguero done.

    Considering Hazard/Digne to Son/Laporte for a -4
    Worth it?

Or can do Digne to Stones/Danilo for free

I genuinely find the number of transfers of Auba out astonishing. He is the form striker in the league, has been scoring regularly all season, he is practically nailed on for 90 mins every game, three of his new four games are favourable (you could argue all four as City can't keep a cs), he should be getting transfers in!

City have kept two clean sheets in their last three games..
