Porch upgrade - vapour barrier?

    Hi all

    I am currently planning a porch upgrade. The porch is totally enclosed with two outer walls and two inner. I want to insulate the two outer walls and also one of the inner walls. The inner wall backs into a second reception room so the thinking is the insulation in the porch will act as external insulation for that room.

    The porch won't be heated so with regards to insulation, do I need some kind of vapour barrier between the existing wall and where the new insulation would be? In my head it goes existing wall, vapour barrier (?), insulation, plasterboard, skim, paint in that order.

    What you guys reckon?

    Is the wall plastered/rendered currently ? If so that’s your vapour barrier

    Yes it is. It's essentially an external wall (think block with the rough render / paint over it) that was closed in with glass on the other two sides. Would moisture condense on this wall behind the insulation and cause mould issues? That's what I'm worried about. As you can probably tell I am not exactly a master tradesman
