    Haven't been up myself but if nearby Montpelier Hill (Hellfire) is anything to go by, Ticknock would be dog rough and I'd imagine it'll be hardcore tonight. Watch yourself if you do decide to go up - I wouldn't bother myself.

    Ah was up the Heller yesterday looks worse from down low...
    I'm more worried about the roads (we had a lot of rain today) than the off roads...

    Was up there Wednesday night, plenty of people out on bikes.
    Only issue is the dropper post and suspension start to play up in the icy temperatures

    Planning on heading up there tomorrow. What is it like when the conditions are icy? Is it ok to cycle the trails?

    You could call the biking.ie hut and see what they they report (if open)

    GAP was closed yesterday (and I think today) if that gives you an idea

    Was up this morning. Very snowy up top. All the trails are covered in snow, some dry patches under the trees but be ready to do some snow surfing! No parking in the car parks either - park lower down and climb up.
