Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fairplay to whoever posted MendyY a few weeks ago, my personal favourite so far!

Ha I really don't understand the big deal, don't even think of it when I write it, I've referred to him like this for years, typical to refer to a bunch of players with -y or -o or shortened names (e.g. Ricky / Richy, Robbo, Pogs, Wildy etc... are all acceptable) so why not Aggy? Really grinds some people's gears for some reason!

If the mods want to write it into the charter then I'll take my punishment but we might have to do it for every player then

    No. No it’s not.

Actually the worst is Poggers. It adds two letters to his name so isn’t even an abbreviation (and sounds fcuking stupid to be honest)

I remember the United team having Brucey, Pally, Incey, Sharpie, Butty, Scholsey, Hughesie, Choccy, Giggsy and yes, even heard Keaney being used.

They didn't put in much effort to their nick names in that side.

Aggy makes me think Daniel Agger. *shudders*

I remember that, but the poster admitted to spelling Aguero wrong to annoy others and was perma-banned for it.

I remember it never bothered me and I wondered about the sensitive souls we had then. I figured it was just because he was a poster that people didn't like in general from other forums(lolsoccer probably).

Of course we're all much more reasonable people now :)

Onto acheiving my highest score of the season. Currently on 85 with Salah to play tonight and Richarlison, Sane and Aguero (c) to play Wednesday

Would they not be doing that every game?

Well yes, but I was alluding to the fact that they have gone for more attack minded players than usual in midfield (i.e. Keita instead of a holding type player like Wijnaldum or Henderson). Hopefully it has the desired effect, I need something big from Mo tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Just the Mané hat trick and VVD goal and clean sheet needed to rescue this GW from the dumpster fire.

Salah can chip in if he wants.

Wijnaldum (sore knee) misses out along with Henderson and Lovren (slight muscle injuries)

I've Robertson, Firmino and Salah (c) involved in this game. This fixture will make or break my gameweek since I've no City players.

No city players in a DGW is unforgivable imo

Considered Hazard to Sane but didn't trust Pep. Glad of that right now, though I might think otherwise after Wednesday.

I only had one and didn’t feel the need for another
Luckily it was the right one but could easily not have been
City players with a DGW often turn out to be SGW players

    Milner miles offside.

Robbo clean sheet gone. Antonio scores.

Double pool defence is proving to be a very expensive WC mistake

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Relatively, this is probably my worst gameweek in about the last 3 seasons.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,830 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Really clever goal & Liverpool look vulnerable at the back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Anderson assist as well. Still has 15% ownership.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,600 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Sold Anderson for Siggy. I'm going to regret not doing Salah to Sterling

He's actually a differential this week for me. Leader played free hit without him in it. Usually don't care much for his hauls, but today I do. 2 pointer incoming I'm sure...

Left Anderson on my bench. Opted for Gerry D

Linesman trying to make up for the mistake by raising the flag every time for Liverpool now.

Looking at the half time highlights. Jesus West Ham should be ahead. 4 really good opportunities. 1 free header and 3 shots from outside the box (2 scraped the post, Alisson saved the other).
