Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

His box kicks are one of the few things we have done well

I actually disagree. He's had a couple after England put loads of pressure on our line where he just needed to find touch and he missed them.

I can't recall any of them that brought about a contest or even put the English catchers under much pressure.

He's been poor since he's come back and we badly need him in form.

Our half backs can’t get us on the front foot

Vunipola (8) has cramp - has lost pace, won't last another 10.

    not necessarily his fault though.

    Not really the point.
They are yielding nothing hence giving possession away quite a lot.

A lot of bemoaning on here, almost all of which is unjustified. The main reason why England are slightly ahead and somewhat more dominant is that they are sucking in men then kicking behind and exploiting the weaknesses left out wide and in the full back line, by which I mean Stockdale and Earls. At least one of them is gone for the second half. The introduction of Cronin should allow for more carrying, provided that he gets clean ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Earls off. Must be an injury.

    I'd go 15 Larmour, 14 Ringrose 13 Henshaw
Ringrose is our best 13 by miles. No way you take him out of there.

Murray just kicking the ball away

O'Mahony won the line out. Ireland making some distances on the pitch after a bad start to this half.

We'd be completely fcuked without Ringrose

Ringrose is having a good game

    Henshaw saved the day there

Some very silly play from Ireland there. Should've kicked the ball away much earlier to get the penalty.

Larmour has no right to be out there. He's hiding.

Garces treatment of the advantage there was terrible.

Don't think Sexton would have kicked there if he knew advantage was over.

    Jesus, really hanging on here.

No point in best being there when his darts are so iffy, at least Cronin adds to the loose

Jesus that’s going to leave a huge gap on the right wing.

Totally wrong call. Larmour had that, England dived on the ruck.
