It’s icy cold outside and the rain makes it feel even colder. But the cycle is out of the way and the matinee movie will be starting shortly.

Don’t go outside folks, it’s not worth it!

Was out early for a run & it was thinking of raining.

Lashing down now. Early prep work done for the dinner. Not venturing out for rest of day.

Thanks. I was feeling slightly guilty for skipping cycling today, but now I feel completely guilty. :D

In fairness, in this kind of weather, the only person that should be out and about is Aquaman.

I will watch the athletics instead.

Did you listen too coast to coast 😀?

I didnt, I downloaded the wind in the willows audio book last night, I like listening to the stories my dad would have read to me or I would have read to him as I got older sometimes. Its soothing.

But I had a look and theres a few there that look interesting, so its on the list! Mind you, theres a few there that look a bit too freaky for me... :pac: I'm a sensitive soul like...

Was out for a hill ramble with the dog, we were an hour and a half out, it didn't rain here yet, but it's looking very like it now.
Mrs has a roast lamb on and it smells delicious, so will now relax and wait for it.
Mucho sport on today so will probably just watch it and the Merseyside Derby should be the highlight.

Oh nothing too exciting this morning. Didn't sleep well last night, my cat woke me for her breakfast at 05:30 (asshole of a cat, but I love her too) and I haven't been able to doze back off so got up.

I'll go for a run soon (or maybe not).

That’s very impressive weight loss Cleo. Takes a lot of will power so fair play to you.
I could do with shedding a half stone myself but I always think it would be rude to pass the biscuit aisle without buying something.

Went to Dunnes around 11am should have taken the Ark, some floods out there. There was a "lady" causing a scene with the supervisor "Do you realise I spend 250_300e a week, yadda yadda and I'm going to let my stuff now".. I'd have escorted her from the shop via the window.

My phone kept ringing on the short journey home and I started to think there was a major emergency.. There was, my gang wanted to know if I was getting donuts.. Mother of God, they're in danger of going out a window also today.
I think the Cork match is cancelled so they'll all be home for the day.. Send help. 😭

Pubside waiting for kisses from my fella. He is back from his business trip and coming from the train to the pub but not staying long coz he is flying to the Philippines tomorrow morning and needs to get home and organised. I got him his currency and his laundry is done so it should be a bit easier for him.

    Just finished lunch.

I had a burst of bravery and decided I would go for a cycle and weather be damned. After opening the door to inspect things further.....that bravery left me pretty swiftly.

Now TVside watching proper cyclists. :D

Woohoo passed the nct. I'm so happy I almost cried. Probably helped that it was just before dinner time on a Sunday :D

I'll miss Graces, I hope she comes back in another form. People (not in here) just can't handle different opinions sometimes and it's so juvenile. She was the granny of our group.
