Animals are amazing. That old cat died years ago, she was a bit of a c&*t if I'm being honest, so mean to pretty much everyone, but I loved how she could read genuine emotion and just be on top of you until it passed :pac: I adored her

Never lived up there properly at all - just LA/SF/Oakland and Chicago and east coast. Spent a few month long stints in Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas for work at various stages. Brrrrrr. Chilly in winter. Just a different kind of life and a different kind of person!

I find having a mother-in-law's-tongue plant always took the heat out of dealing with mother in law 1. I'd just look at it on the windowsill and smile and find her much more tolerable . I imagined it absorbing her grumbling and b1tching. I told her it was an aloe vera so it felt like a funny secret .
