That's crazy isn't it. And we spend so much time here complaining about the weather, we never get extremes like that.
It's a cold but beautiful morning here.

The big tsunami cured me of that, smurfjed. My faith family lost over a hundred and coworkers in that, gone without trace. Just gone and so many with them.

So now I report the weather and how folk react is their choice. eg today we have a gale warning and of deluges. does not worry me...

enjoy the coffee.. You earn it!

How did you get here? No ferry today!

In from out; rescuing all my many trays of seedlings from the gale ... my kitchen has vanished under seed trays. Blowing a real gale now. Lost one seeded pot but have the seeds safe so we can sort that.

There's a lazy east wind out there that would cut right through you. A few outside jobs done and now for the hoovering indoors.

    Jayzus, it's frigging freisian out.
I'm going to see if theres anything inside needs doing because my hands are numb, hopefully not a lot as a short nap would also be welcome.

Home for the first time in days and trying to decide whether to have an outside or inside day. On one hand there are seedlings that need to be transplanted and a dog and boots that haven't been on a decent walk in weeks. On the other, a rare house to myself, new books, and the biting wind outside. 'tis a tough decision
