Love seeing the Rocky posts, my favourite movies of all time. Always make me think of my Dad, he let me stay up to watch Barry McGuigan win in 1985, just the two of us, I was a small girl. My Dad died three years later, heart attack at 38.

His Birthday is in a few days, he would have been seventy. So very nostalgic right now. Life can be so sad, and so short. Mind yereselves x

Bittersweet , but beautiful memories Teapot , mind yourself too x

If the next one is heading for the toilet it could be slightly ominous.

Eugh. Why am I up? I really deserved a sleep in.

I slept in for a half an hour, having my coffee now.
Fog like soup out, I can't see the bottom of the lawn, but the sun is shining above it, I can see the brightness if I look up, so I'm preparing for a beautiful day.

Pup got me up early, took her out for some fetch, she got distracted by a pheasant, thought I'd lost her in the field but after much calling she stuck her head up from the ditch.

We are back in now having coffee (me) and a back scratch (her). :pac:

A light breakfast of one slice of wholegrain toast with Marmite (yummy) and a cup of black coffee.

Off out shortly to do a parkrun (its a free 5k timed event), then home to breakfast like a king before hitting the beach :)

On the rear occasion I actually get to sleep without at least one dog and a cat in bed with me as soon as my feet touch the floor (in the morning) there's hungry dogs and a cat charging down the stairs for their breakfasts lol.

I love seeing their excitement :)

Up and in kitchen. Annoyed as I woke at 6.15 and couldn't go back to sleep. Was just back into a beautiful slumber at 8.15 when the small child woke. The first of 2 birthday parties for her to attend is this morning so getting ready soon. It has been a mad week :)

Somehow I fell back asleep after waking at my usual time and only waking now!
I obviously needed it as my mother would say :)
Now to get going and make the most of that amazing weather.

Listening to Tamsin Archer and writing about obsessive stalkers with a stubborn fixation for married women . It's amazing the rabbit holes you go down to make a living .

    Great morning for it :D

Getting a bit of pampering today (yesterday was a bit busy). Going to get a coffee, then a trip to the beauty salon, walk dogs, then hairdressers, back to beauty salon, home to change and then out for a meal.
