I'm trying to remember, was last year the first year they had mats outside the ring in the chamber?

One thing I did laugh at was when Nia went through the pod. Bayley barely moved and even if Nia continued to where Bayley was, she would have missed the pod. Instead she turned into the pod.
For both EC matches when they were fighting on top of the pod, I was expecting a spot involving the glass breaking and falling out of the chamber.

Stopped watching halfway through last night.
Even if it's sacrilege I could care less about Balor winning the IC. When they cut to Lashley for a pre match promo I genuinely thought to myself who was Intercontinental champion before the camera zoomed out of the closeup of the belt.
Then reminded myself who was the US Champion.
Rousey predictably jobbed out Riott like she was nothing. The post match angle did what they wanted, effectively setting up the triple threat. The cuts were unfortunate but she hit them both around 50 times so it was bound to happen.
Baron vs Braun might be the most interminable feud of 2019. The combination of them 2 with McIntyre, Lashley, Balor, Ziggler & a physically broken Angle are a group I never want to see in a match in any combination again but it'll happen.
Main event took a while to get going (Hardy & Joe were an afterthought) but the finish was easily the best wrestling on the show. Normally I'd say Kofi wasn't a viable contender for Mania but it's likely to be him or Mustafa Ali. I'll be honest either choice wouldn't be getting a match with Lesnar or a WWE Champion who was any bit of a priority.
This is a BIG problem with Smackdown. They have no obvious contenders built up for any division. Tag division is a bit of a been there done that as the Uso's won the belt for the umpteenth time. I'd actually just unify both tag titles as they are effectively worthless now. I can't remember if Asuka has appeared since the Rumble which explains her situation.

nah think she does her own for occasion...by looks of most her gear prob sasha banks BF sorting them for her like most the stars... you can see it wen she does her hair that shes not going down the road of same gear,wants to be fresh always.she said on steven colbert months back that she loves cos play as its hard to go out in public to cinema etc.

I keep forgetting who the US champion is as well. Don't think he's appeared since winning. Asuka has only been in the form of a video package. Now the women's tag titles are decided, the women can now concentrate on who will fight Asuka.

Again the camera work annoyed me at times last night. There was one time, at least, where it showed 2 random people in the crowd while Kofi was pinning Bryan and only cut back when Bryan kicked out.

Have a feeling we’re going to get Asuka vs. Evans at Mania based on last night. I hear they’re quite high on her.
