    Hi,
    Before Christmas I changed the address on my car insurance policy. I only received the letter from the insurer today dated 14th december (it was on top of the post boxes in the apartment block).

    The letter requested that the previous policy be returned in a lost certificate declaration.

    As I've missed that window will there be any effect on my cover?

    Ask the insurer. Only they know for sure
