Hi, I want to set up a "2nd room" htpc in the kids playroom, mainly for LAN streaming. I already have a full Linux desktop PC running myth and kodi and various shares and zeroconf services and the kids' TV is only 720p

My fall back device will be an RPi3 running openelec or similar, but before I spring for a new one i was wondering of there was any other options or boxes for a similar price {€40)

(PS - not looking for a dodgy box, but if the right hardware comes at the right price and I can flash it, id consider it)

There are several Android boxes in the price bracket which can be dual booted with either LibreElec or CoreElec.
I have a couple of Tanix TX3 mini boxes that run CoreElec very well, but there are other boxes posted about in both forums.
