Scoury ewe

    Have a ewe thats very scoury. Already injected with trodex 2 weeks ago and levas diamond previous to this. Losing condition and is very scoury. Is there anything else I can give ?

    If she’s a lot thinner then the rest get her into factory or you’ll be paying the knackery man for the privilege of getting rid of her

    Acidosis? Maybe a spoon of baking soda etx?

    There can be a number of causes for a ewe having the scour.
    It could be Coccidiosis. If it is, you could get a drench from your Vet. As far as I can remember you have to treat the sheep for three days. to be effective.

    It would be worth calling into to your vet and getting his or her advice.

    she got Trodax 2 weeks ago, withdrawal is 60 days

    Take dung sample, then work from there, a pill box full is enough, could be worm's, stomach fluke or it could be that she had liver fluke and liver is damaged, then unable to digest food properly, in that case may need high energy consentrate. Find out what you are dealing with first.

    Totally agree re: dung sample. Otherwise you are just hoping you guess right. We had scoury lambs mid summer, very dry, ended up being fluke which none of the neighbors would have guessed given the weather we had.
