    Hi there,

For the various legacy devices I have and for the ease of use, I am looking to buy a smart TV with Scart sockets, but this seems hard to come by. Do you folks have any options? The TV would preferably be at the 40" size but would consider 43" or 32" if those features could be found. Had a great experience with an LG TV that had those features and was from 2015 but their current ranges don't seem to have Scart.

    Hey JustAMoment121.

    Thanks for the post.

I don't think any of the big brand put scart connection or adaptors on the televisions any more. Scart is now pretty much a dead format.

There is a Full HD (Non 4K) 40" Sharp that has 1 scart connection coming in at £229

That is the only one I can find with a scart and I went over the first 30 televisions on our website.

    Let me know your thoughts.

Yeah it's a strange situation as SCART is pretty cheap and so many legacy devices that don't have HDMI will use them. And all the latest TVs have composite or component phono sockets that I saw, they're like from the 30s right? :D  And technically inferior to SCART for all its extra features and auto switch on (which is what, an 80s thing right?)

Seems like only the Vestel kinds of TVs have them now :/

    Hi JustAMoment121,

The older generation Sony 1080p TVs did have scart sockets as well but they've been phased out too! You could always get a Scart to composite adaptor for that 1930s definition! :D
