Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Update on installation

    Hi,
I am waiting on fibre broadband installation since last August. After numerous phone calls to customer service looking for updates to no avail, I actually met the OpenEir engineers out working on the line in my housing estate in early December. They said the fibre is now in and connected and that there were just some final checks but that it would be up and running in early January at the latest.
No one on the customer service help line has been able to update me since or let me know what the delay is even though the fibre is now in.
Can you please update, let me know what the delay is and when the installation is expected to be completed?

Is there anyone from Eir who can assist with this?

Just about ready to cancel and give up and go elsewhere even though I'm pretty sure the fibre is now in !

Have you checked if your eircode is showing FTTH as available.

Because the ground crew said it would be ready doesn't necessarily mean it would be. Lots of stuff that needs doing even after the cable has been laid

Sounds Familiar, we've been waiting since last April and they keep on putting it back, when they eventually showed up in December we was told the same thing that it's a small job and would be ready in 4 weeks, maybe we're in the same estate

    Hi canyoucrackit,

Could you provide the following information in PM:
    1. Account name
    2. Account number
    3. Address
    4. Date of birth
    5. Can you confirm you're the account holder?

Once I get this, I would happily look into this matter for you.

    -Andre
