Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    It's quite thirsty :D

It's a great car, solid and reliable with tons of space. I have the facelift version, my father has been driving the pre facelift for 4 years (2.0 150bhp) and hasn't had a bit of trouble with it.

How many horsies in the A4?

Anything below 150 and you would be better to get a push bike for thrills.

177bhp my 2011 think newer is up to 190bhp so the vrs be on par

An Octavia is a class below an A4.
No comparison Imo.....I drove a VRS diesel for a week and a 1.6 boggo one for a week.... the VRS was underwhelming. Looks OTT for what it is too.

12500 seems a good trade in value for your A4, what miles are on it?

The A4 isn’t much of a drivers car either to be fair. No disrespect to the OP obvs

A come on, an S-Line A4 is just as showey as a VRS.

    I don't think so.
The VRS comes in its own colour range iirc.
S lines look far more tastefull, IMO of course.

174,000km think it's fair price car in good order

You'll probably notice a drop off in general refinement compared to a B8 A4 to be honest. It's not bad but it's definitely a little noisy on bad roads.

Try and get one with as many options as you can. They're generally pretty solid and reliable.

That one's got a heated windscreen too which is a nice option.

I wouldn't be a fan of the vRS in red and those wheels don't work with it.

I have the same ones on mine, think they suit the white and/or the gunmetal grey better.
