    Anyone have excel or similiar template for completing a vatreturn for a farm

    I think there's been a change in how VAT is reclaimed. Revenue are trying to streamline the process and reduce the manpower needed and make it so businesses can do it themselves.

    Once you have internet access, you can do it yourself online through Revenue Online once you have the invoice number and the companys VAT number.

    I must have a better look this week as I have a few pieces to claim myself.

    I just applied and got a VAT refund. I sent it in the normal way (by Post) and they sent me a letter saying it has to be done now by ROS in 2019. Had to apply to get setup on ROS etc. Then the new VAT reclaim system would not work and I had to wait 3 weeks for a bug fix. Then I filled out the form and put in the numbers of my Invoices. It was approved but there was a note on it that I have to scan and attach all the invoices next time.

    Cheers, there was no mention of scanning at the talk I was at but that makes it easier alright.
