Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cleaning interior - which products?

My car came with a kit of cleaning products that I might as well use! However, I’m not sure which product goes with which surface (other than leather seats are obvious and I’ll use the leather cleaner followed by leather balm).

I have a bottle of Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber care...what parts of my interior (if any) are Vinyl?

I also have a bottle of Autiglym Fast Glass which can also be used on Acrylic & Perspex...same question, what parts of my interior (if any) are Acrylic & Perspex?

    Anyone got any guidance..? Thanks.

I believe the Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber care can be used on all rubber and plastic surfaces so your dashboard, all door cards and the centre plastic parts, just don't put it on the steering wheel and the pedals as according to the bottle that might be a safety issue. I've even used this stuff on all bare black plastic on the outside but the shine doesn't last on the outside too long.

As for the fast glass it can be used on all windows and mirrors so front and back windscreens(inside and out), all side windows (inside and out), side mirror, rear view mirror and even the mirrors in the sun visor.

The vinyl and rubber car leaves a shiney finish meaning it can reflect more in the windows. It'll be fine lower down but on door tops and dash boards I'd be inclined to use something else that gives a dull finish.
