Fire no longer processing crypto exchange transfers

    With immediate effect -

    We are writing to all of our customers to advise that we will no longer support payments to/from cryptocurrency exchanges. This change will take effect immediately. Any payments connected to cryptocurrency exchanges will be unsuccessful and the funds will be returned to the sending account.

    Why would you use Fire? Seems more expensive to use than Revolut. I mean €1 for an ATM withdrawal, 1.25% fee for FX transfers, WTF? €0.10 for every chip / pin / contactless payment? That's probably even more expensive than AIB or BOI :p

    Because Revolut blacklisted exchanges long before now.

    I wasn't aware of that. So use N26 instead then?
