Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2005 Honda Accord cruise control

Recently, the Cruise Control stopped working while I was driving. I did not brake or cancel cruise control. Two weeks ago I got it checked by computer in a main dealer. A fault showed up and they deleted the fault on the computer, and it worked okay. They said to recheck and I did two weeks later. No fault showed up this time and cruise control works fine. During the intervening two weeks I did not use cruise control. During the first test they said the battery was a little low. Two questions: 1. Could the problem arise again. 2. Could a low battery cause the problem. The car is a 2005 Honda Accord, 2 litre, petrol.
    TIA.

I don’t think a low battery would cause that.

Is it possible you touched the clutch?

I certainly wouldn’t be worrying about it.

What speed were you doing at the time?

It could be a failing switch on either the brake or clutch pedal that caused it to disengage.

Its commonly the clutch switch on the accords, it may just need adjustment there is a long thread to adjust it.

    It's a possibility but I don't think so.
