Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Golf coil light and engine light, can I drive it?

    Driving today, coil light flashing and engine light came on. No power, car vibrating even when in neutral. Happened out of the blue. Any thoughts? Am I ok to drive to dealer?

    Sounds like an injector problem. It’s quite common on that generation 1.6 engine. If you have had the emissions update carried out then VW should replace the injector FOC.

    Still under warranty, would I be safe to drive to garage?
