Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New sir ftth order

Hello, I am looking to setup a new order for ftth but eirs website won't let me enter my address to order. My eir code says I'm ftth enabled, which I'm hoping is the case. This is a new house me and my partner are moving into so we have no phone number etc.

Can I set this order up through someone here or do I have to phone eir? I'd really rather not to be honest.

I'm hoping to get the 300mbs package at 49 euro a month on a 12 month contract. The FUP of 1tb no longer exists correct?

Make sure Eir is the best provider for you and checkout which companies have the best feedback. It currently takes over an hour to contact eir tech support by phone while many other companies have wait times of 5 - 10 minutes.

All these companies provide FTTH on the open eir network

eir seem to be the only one doing the 300mbs for €50 a month on a 12 month contract, thats the only reason i want to go with them, everyone else seems to be 60-70euro at 12-18 months.

    Might try sky as well.

Go in to a store and set it up. If you do it over the phone they will send someone out with the wrong order, plus it will take you an hour on the phone multiple times, it will frustrate the hell out of you etc... Been through it all before.
Spent 4 months calling them to get it sorted and then someone told me to go in to a store instead. Had the internet installed in the house 3 days later.
Don't waste your time on the phone or chatting to them online. Go in to a store. It's the only way.

    Hi Icyseanfitz,

I would recommend calling our sales team on 1800 503 303 directly they would be able to assist you on the best option available.

I went into the Tralee store and setup an install for next week. One thing I want to clear up though. When I was setting it up I asked about the fair usage policy, the store attendant told me the 1tb cap still exists. I was under the impression all new accounts from July are exempt, what's the truth?

    Hi Icyseanfitz,

Any order placed after August 2018 for unlimited bb would be on our unlimited package.

That's perfect, so I have no 1tb cap on the new ftth package I setup even though the store attendant said there was a fup.

Glad you took my advice and went through a store instead. It is a much easier and less frustrating way to go about it.

hello, I am a bit confused as to when my first bill will issue and how much it will be. Whenever i log into myeir it says my first bill will be up on the 5th of april, yet i received a text today saying my bill is now ready and will be taken from my account on or around the 20th of this month. I would like to clear this up so that i know how much will be taken, when it will be taken and so can ensure it is paid.

    3. Account Number
    4. DOB
    5. Are you the Account Holder?

    Thanks,
