replacement motherboard

Hi folks, my dad's Micro ATX LG 1156 motherboard and graphic card (Radeon HD5450) has fried. I'm looking to get his Packard Bell (ixtreme m5800) back up and running as cheap as possible.

I was thinking I could get a motherboard with integrated graphics. I assume I can keep the CPU (i5-650)...

I'm thinking INTEL DQ57TM (link) will be my cheapest option...

Possibly easier/less hassle just to buy a replacement machine. That's 1st gen dual core i5; around €100 on ebay would get you a 3rd gen quad core i5 machine.

Cool - you can probably add some extra RAM from the old build, and throw in the old hard drive as storage.
