Looks like we're wasting money bringing her back then...

Absolutely, a bullet would cost less and would be a much more agreeable outcome.

Fantastic opportunity to pick apart and break down the psyche of an IS recruit for the Irish intelligence agency. She will make a great resource for interrogation and psychological assessment, by all means bring her back.

Leave her where she is. Will waste a council house, instead of it going to someone who really needs it

Can't stop her in any case, if she decides to come back......and the most ( and possibly only ) positive thing to come from it will be that she will increase the knowledge base of isis, how it work's, how she was indoctrinated, and all the link's in the chain. Plus of course, her child will not be allowed to develop along isis line's.

i think it ultimately won't be her choice in the end.

she may very well decide not to accept whatever terms the government may put to her in exchange for bringing her home but out of that there are a couple of possibilities.
    1. government bring her home anyway and tell her tough.
    2. she ends up staying where she is and is eventually thrown out anyway.
i very rarely agree with trump on anything but i 100% support him on the issue of countries taking back their isis members, and i support him carrying out his threat of dropping them back if countries refuse to do it of their own accord.

Look's like you were right with NR.2.....:D

Nonsense, do you honestly think she is going to tell them anything, she can tell them to f*ck off and the can do nothing about it.

She'll be a great resource alright.

Not for the Gardaí, they'll get over time from her or those inspired by her in time.

Who exactly is going to stop that happening?

For so long as there is unassimilated ethnic minorities, there will be ethnic strife. The Islamic insurgency being waged in Europe is just the most obvious example of that strife. This intractable curse has been needlessly visited on future generations by fools and worse.

Watching the RTE news it appears she’d prefer to stay in Turkey then return here and face the music. Sure she’ll fit right in there.

Well thats it so, mission over, leave her there. Nobody in their right mind wants her back here regardless of our legal obligations so any easy out is our best course of action

Have you seen the BBC production about isis " The State" ? It pretty much nails it when it show's how isis really work's. Basically, it tells the story of a Lady Doctor who leave England to go and join isis. She has a 7 or 8 year old son who she take's with her, with the intention of joining the perfect Islamic World. But soon after arriving, she begin's to discover exactly what the isis version of is Islam really is....and it's nothing like what it says on the brochure's...so she escapes with her son, and finally makes it back to England, where she is arrested, and her son taken into care. Knowing all about the workings of isis, she volunteers to spill all the bean's, to go on TV and denounce isis publicly. But the Police refuse this offer. Instead, they make a counter offer....." Co-operate fully with us, and we will arrange for you to visit your son. These visit's will be completely 100% at our discretion, bearing in mind your suitability as a responsible mother is very much in doubt given your recent history. You do understand the states responsibility to protect the child will come first at all times "
So the msg was clear. I'm not suggesting it will be like this when Lisa comes home....after all, this was only a BBC production, and not a factual account ( to the best of my knowledge anyway )

In the end she will ask for that bullet you seem to be Keen on her getting. Coming back to Ireland will be nothing but torture.

I genuinely hope she dies one way or another like every single follower of ISIS. Won’t be shedding any tears for her.

Well here we go, lets bring her home with her child (Bangladesh wouldent take her or her child back even though the father is a Bangladesh national) This women when she comes back should be put in jail and the key thrown away, I would personally give her over to the Kurds who have suffered at the hands of these Islamic scumbags an "eye for a eye". Give the child over to the grandparents in Bangladesh. Better still pass over some of Charlies pension to the grandparents. Western VALUES "LOAD OF ****" when dealing with this group of people.

Turkey intends to deport the foreign detainees so whether she likes it or not it looks like she's coming back to ireland.

This is a cold calculating bitch with military training, not some teanager brainwashed online we are talking about here. Someone like that would rather never see her kid again than denounce Isis. A complete waste of time and resources if people think she is going to tell them anything.

not possible as the syrians are rightly getting rid of these people back to where they came from.

Was watching Sky News last night and Mark Stone was in one of the camps where the wives and kids are being kept, anyone who thinks those kids won't be the next generation of jihadis should really watch the clip and see the level of hate they had.

And the Government seem to be more bothered about that tramp and her kid than the people here who elect them into their cushy well paid jobs.

the turks aren't going to keep her.
    she is coming back.
none of us are happy about it but the legal realities come first, otherwise other countries can play games.

And that’s why the kids are fair game to be exterminated as well as unsavory as that sounds. You don’t destroy a rats nest and worry about the young, you wipe every last one out so the infestation is sorted.

bangladesh couldn't take her back as she wasn't even born there, even if they wanted to, which they don't.
the child's father being bangladeshi is ultimately irrelevant in terms of smith.

you might give her over to the kurds but the kurds do not want these people, as you may be aware they have enough issues of their own to be dealing with currently, their very existence is under threat.

She been well trained on how to use weapons (IRISH ARMY) and am sure knows how to place a bullet in a gun though her Islamic friends and her good self preferred to hack people to death. They dident have choice how they died at least she can. Am sure she can lay a hand on a gun where she is now.

Unsavoury?? This is truly disgusting. What ever about Lisa and her ilk these are babies, abused and brainwashed. They need to be rescued and treated for trauma, malnutrition, abuse and whatever else they have suffered at the hands of these animals. What chance or choice did they have??

For once I agree. We wouldn't be too happy with foreign nationals potentially up to no good in our country.

It's up to countries to gather up their citizens and take them away. Who wants a sh1t load of foreign ex jihadis and their kids left up to their own devices, freely associating in their patch?

Heard Shane Coleman on Newstalk this morning putting out the question "Should we welcome Lisa Smith back" ?!
FFS Whatever about letting her come back but welcoming back??
I guarantee if she does come back through Dublin airport you'll have some deluded fools putting on a welcome home.
