Just so that we are all certain what the argument is about - if the Kurds decide to put a rifle to the back of her head, would anyone object to that? Thusly, is the argument over what to do with these so-called people if they do not face justice in Syria?

    Is she a Muslim too.

That crap would make you ill.

Begun was on the side of people who decapitated aid workers and put it on video.

I thought it was her mother who was from Bangladesh, it’s just fabulous that it’s to hell or to Bangladesh for her now, her family can join her there now, problem sorted.

Here’s hoping she is stuck in Bangladesh for the rest of her life.

I wouldn’t have much of a problem with that to be honest.

She represents a danger to my family so if its her or them I would pull the trigger myself.

Im unsure of her religion, but i doubt she is Muslim because she is in a same sex relationship.

All i know of her is that she is an unbearable sjw beacon of all things " woke".

Pontificating to one and all is her M.O.

Does that make her stateless then ? Or how does it work ? I actually didn't know a citizenship could be revoked .

She has a state. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

iraq and syria are 2 separate states.

As long as the individual can access another nationality (in this case Bangladeshi) it's perfectly legal. The Home Secretary had to eat crow with a couple of cases last year when he effectively made two people stateless, so their British nationality had to be restored.

It can be done under Irish law (for naturalised citizens), again as long as it can be reasonably proved the Minister isn't making someone stateless. I don't know have those powers ever been used in Ireland though.

Hopefully the powers will be used when that Scrote with Irish citizenship tries to slither back in here.

I think he came from Belarus originally.

She'd probably get a nomination to run for the Dáil from the Soc Dems as soon as she gets through the arrival gates in Terminal 2.

She should try and get arrested over there, and then plead her innocence. Surely there would be people who could start a campaign to have her freed and sent back to the UK.

A UK Muslim immigration lawyer talking about her appeal says that if she were the age of 21 then the Bangladeshi state would have revoked her citizenship by that age according to their law, but she's 19 so that doesn't apply.

Worryingly, and why I mentioned he's a Muslim lawyer, he argues that the UK state has no evidence against her. Her accounts in interview are evidence afaic and it's a bit ludicrous to suggest that she should be put on trial in the UK because she'd have to be in the UK for that to happen.

What I also find disturbing is the inference that somehow the UK state is being racist towards her in their decision to revoke her citizenship.

I get a sense the Brits are going to toughen up a lot post brexit and we'll see more of this short shrift bring dished out to the likes of the eejits who wear tee-shirts saying "kill the infidels".

It’s not that simple. She still has the right to appeal.

And you can’t go around revoking citizenship from thousands of people willy nilly. It’s only done in rare occasions. And you can’t revoke citizenship if to do so would make someone stateless. Finally, any decent self-respecting democracy has the concept of the right to appeal, as I mentioned above.

5 revocations of Irish nationality thus far. All since 2015, with a likely 6th revocation (Damache, yerman extradited to the US), and a possible 7th for the Belarusian.

I don't think the UK should let her back in unless they are absolutely legally obliged (e.g. she is not a citizen of any other country), but I thought you were pro life? It should be mentioned that she is 8-9 months pregnant.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,800 ✭✭✭tretorn

She isn’t pregnant any more, she gave birth to a boy and you can imagine what he will be like at fifteen.

Off to Bangladesh with both of them.

She had the baby a couple of days ago in Syria. So the infant is a Syrian citizen.
