Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

These small Irish music producers are collecting money for foreign music being played.

PPI and IMRO sound more like some kind of invoice fraud.

IMRO is one of those organisations washed up on the shore, following changes in technology and how music is bought and shared.

A very snappy ad break means something just went down and we're not going to hear that bit

That IMRO lad would want to get back to the day job, sitting on his arse doing and saying nothing

I'm confused here. Radio stations pay the fees to play music on the radio as it's a public broadcast. Why does it need to be paid again?

I can understand the likes of Sky it's for your own personal use and you sign up to it, it's in the Ts/C's to not broadcast it in public unless licenced.

However with radio you don't sign up to Ts/C's you simply put the radio on?

Sounds like a complete fast one.

I think he (caller) might actually be right on this one, Joe loves to mine for misery and iirc, he brought up that it was the anniversary week of the tragedy.

I don't think that's a direct accusation that IMRO planned it but it isn't relevant to the discussion so I can see the chap's point at least.

That's like the copyright-free music offered by youtube.

Victor was dead right. Joe made a big thing about the anniversary on Friday. He even said it before Davitt came on.

That was my memory of it too, he started talking with the mother about the Buncrana tragedy before he brought Davitt on.
