Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I upgraded my mobile yesterday over the phone. The phone was advertised as €99. The guy in was speaking to said this was a deposit and the €99 is refundable after 6 months. Never heard of this but this is the first time I've upgraded a bill pay mobile. Can anyone from previous experience confirm what i was told is accurate?

Existing bill pay customers should never pay deposit as you are already trusted customer. I think what happened is that you were on old Meteor system. When you came looking for upgrade they were migrating you to the new system, which didn't recognize you as already trusted customer.

I'm fairly certain Eir are able to manually remove that deposit for you.

    Hi RobiePAX

Some mobile handsets do in fact require a deposit.

    Many thanks
