Hi, I'd like to bring a bit of life back in to the County forum, starting with a thread on things happening in Dungarvan.
Can be used for any info, places opening up or closing down.
    Developments around the town.
Some place to give out about.

I'll start, Bridge House has been given planning permission for a Bar / Restaurant. A welcome development surely with Murphy's pub closed.

The roadworks on the N25, when are they going to end?

Travelling the N25 to Cork everyday I'm well use to roadworks but these bloody ones seemed to have arrived with no notification.

The N25 roadworks were well notified alright - connecting town water to Ring. They're making steady progress out the road alright, but the delays are awful every morning and evening.
From Monday week they're doing the stretch from Ring cross to Robert's Cross, and will be closing the road completely, so plenty more disruption for people out that way.

Were they? On the road? If so apologies. I’ve been on that road every morning, never say a warning. If so apologies. When are they finished?

Actually I'm not sure if there were notices on the road. I guess I was aware of it from the paper, and local knowledge, so maybe it wasn't as well flagged as I assumed.

They're due to close the Ring road on the 25th, so I imagine the plan is to be finished on the N25 by then, although they just gives them a week.
