New PC build after long hiatus - €800-1000

    1. What is your budget? €800-1000

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Mostly for gaming purposes. Ideally I'd like to be able to play the latest in AAA games. I also intend to use it for office-based and academic purposes.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Most likely, yes.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? I have a functioning SSD with Windows 7 on. Otherwise, everything is a generation old.

    5. Do you need a monitor? Not at this point in time.

    5a. If yes, what size do you need. No preference.

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Currently 1920 x 1080, but will upgrade when funds become available.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Just a network adapter (home is powerlined).

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Only if necessary.

    8. How can you pay? Visa-debit or Paypal

    9. When are you purchasing? ASAP

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Laois
