Glasgow, so inspired by Connacht last night, have decided they'll butcher as many trys.

Great defence. Been all Glasgow but I’d be worried if I was a Glasgow fan as Munster will come into it. Munster just need to settle.

**** me now that's a kick in the teeth for Glasgow, Munster defensively have been excellent but when they had to score they did which is fantastic.

Easy in hindsight but Glasgow not taking those 3's is very idiotic and showed a lack of respect.

I'll re-use my joke from last year:

He penetrates so hard the Dubs named a maternity hospital after him.

Unreal, about a foot off the ground and marching forward.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,392 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    That's a red for Glasgow 10.

Originally thought red because it rode up and hit Murray high.

But the other angle showed it was no arms and shoulder to head. A crimson card.

No way it’s all about Glasgow how great they are, he would be better in the mart today with his old lad then running Munster down and all Glasgow.

Fantastic from Nash! Really have a great season, would love to see Farrell have a look at him in August.

Is it possible to play a week later if you fail a HIA1... any HIA2 or HIA3, that can allow training to resume?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,794 ✭✭✭Shehal

Surely the ball just skimmed the line there? 5M scrum isnt a bad outcome though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,856 ✭✭✭✭Hotblack Desiato

What is it going to take to get through to these guys that a shoulder to the head is just not acceptable? We saw similar in the L game, Porter was pinned down couldn't defend himself got whacked in the head and only a yellow. Refs need to crack down and red was the right decision here for sure. L v M semi is going to be tasty 😁

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,178 ✭✭✭Brief_Lives

not really if we are already missing POM RG and Murray

also Paddy Paterson as ruptured his ACL, so we are down to academy scrumhalves

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,150 ✭✭✭mr_edge_to_you

Further highlights the farce of this orange card or whatever they're calling it where a player can be replaced after 20 mins.

Happened as well to one of the Irish lads v France. Team loses a player permanently to a HIA but the other team effectively have the impact of their actions reduced.

I think that red should have been a penalty try as well. Murray seemed to be through and when the last man defending fouls in the tackle, then they're removed from the equation, so the question becomes, if Murray wasn't tackled there, would he have scored a try

I didn't see any other defenders, but am open to correction

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,856 ✭✭✭✭Hotblack Desiato

Probably but it's hard to see a penalty try given more than a couple of metres off the line.

Do they really need to have a plastic pitch in Glasgow, it's not feckin' Iceland...

Crowley the best player on the pitch? He's been brilliant, a number of excellent involvements in the first try, thet extra step and pass assist for the 2nd, at least 2 attempts at a choke tackle and, one dodgy kick aside, some brilliant exiting. He's been class.

Huge d in the first 20 minutes keeping us in it. The injuries are a huge blow tho...

What's the name of the band?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,794 ✭✭✭Shehal

Rolling away and being on you're feet at ruck time is only an option now it seems.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,794 ✭✭✭Shehal

Munster arent playing badly per say but they do appear to be taking their foot off the pedal and give Glasgow every chance of getting back into the game.
