Hodnett and Healy the standouts for me so far.

Definitely, Healy kicking from hand was exceptional, I'd be happy if he started the Pro12 this season. Hodnett is firecracker of a player.

That's good going winning that considering the lineups on paper.

I’m incredibly excited by Hodnett and I think he offers something that Munster probably haven’t ever had in their backrow.

    What? David Wallace?

You saw Leinsters scrum being demolished. Its a tighthead we need..a proper tighthead.

As a leinster fan please get Hodnett, O’Sullivan, Ahern and Kendellan into that Munster team asap, a stronger Munster is a stronger Ireland and we need to stop that England pack, those lads are proper prospects, leinster and Munster need to be firing on all cylinders if we’re ever gonna stop that England pack in the next few years

    Full match is on youtube,

1st half, match starts about 30 mins into the video

    2nd half

Personally I couldn't really tell how he got on,
Like a lot of players he didn't stand out nor did he have a bad game,

    Squad update

Kleyn and Goggin will return to training this week.

    Conway following RTPP

Looks like Murray is out injured along with Snyman, Carbery and Killer

That's great news on Goggin, I had thought his injury absence was a long term one.

The whole league is in the same boat. Not much that can be done about it really.

Oh I know, I was just pointing it out.

I guess it will afford more gametime for the younger lads to put their hands up

Guess if even a few thousand are would they still want games in TP until hifher capacity could be reached anyway? Know Musgrave is usually a sell out but even if half full wonder would they still go ahead there. Guess it's hard to predict too far ahead when crowds allowed are so small at the moment. Wonder will any fans be let in for those home games so?

Really looking forward to the season kicking off again. We need to see Ahern, Hodnett and Healy starting games. I've a feeling Rhys Marshall will be a big player for us this season.

Great to see the fixtures but you really have to wonder what kind of year it will be. I suppose it's a start and something to look forward to

They reasoning was that if supporters are allowed back in reasonable numbers with social distancing, Musgrave Park will be too small to allow a viable crowd in. Thomond could probably hold only 4-5000 with 2m SD. Musgrave could be less that 1000.

With no or practically no supporters left in, then it makes sense just to play in same the city that they train in.

Ah yeah, makes sense, that's what I was thinking alright. Guess we're a while off yet from even that but hopefully in the not too distant future

I see this as an absolute win.

    Rugby bonanza!

Added in the internationals to cookie's list:

    Scarlets (A) Sat Oct 3rd 15:00
    Edinburgh (H) Sat 10th Oct 19:35
    2019/20 ERCC Finals
Cardiff (H) Mon 26th Oct 20:15 (vs Italy)
Dragons (A) Sun 1st Nov 14:00 (vs France)
    Benetton (A) Sat 7th Nov 14:00
Ospreys (H) Sun 15th Nov 14:45 (vs Wales)
Glasgow (A) Mon 23rd Nov 20:15 (vs England)
Zebre (H) Mon 30th Nov 20:15 (vs Georgia)
    Autumn Nations Cup Final weekend
    ERCC 1
    ERCC 2
    Leinster (H) WE 26th Dec
    Ulster (A) WE 2nd Jan
    Connacht (A) WE 9th Jan

With the week off afterwards Munster should be able to name full sides for the Scarlets and Edinburgh games. We won't see the internationals return until the new European season in December. The block of six games is a massive opportunity for Munster to put in youngsters into the lineup.
