Once again? He's got 22 goals in 31 games against them which is a pretty good ratio against any team never mind against one of the best defensive teams in the world.

Alot of those goals came in the pre-Simeone era, where they were a mid-table team. Did nothing against them for several years after Simeone came, bar a peno in a game Real had already won. Got some success against Atletico when they regressed. But always struggles against them when they are well drilled and operating at this level

Right call. Just a shame the ref didn't dish out more cards to the Atletico players in the first half for some of the tackles they were putting in, Saul's one on Ronaldo in particular.

Anyway, deserved win but I hope I don't have to watch Atletico past this stage.
