Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Piss poor by both teams

Good result all things considered, but still slighty disappointed as Liverpool were there for the taking. The wheels are coming off for them.

Still miles better than that Red monday fiasco.

An under 10s game on a Sunday morning would be better than that.

Good point for United, injuries piling up will be a huge worry. Liverpool don't look the same side from the first half of the season

Poor from Liverpool but how far has the Klopp brought this club that a draw away to United to put u clear at the top of the table is upsettingg

Liverpool should consider themselves very lucky. Playing Uniteds B team in midfield and attack and still bottled it. No shots on goals in the last 60 mins.

That was basically playing with 10 men and no subs. But at least be thankful that liverpool crawled away with a point considering all the best chances were for united.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,609 ✭✭✭IncognitoMan

Given the circumstances , ending up with Martial, Matic, Herrera and Lingard off the pitch and Rashford operating at far less than 100% the draw isn't a bad result. If Smalling had a bit more of a striker's instinct about him could have been better.

What's more worrying now is that's a lot of injuries to United's best players to be carrying now.

Poor performance. Think united dragged us down to their level and they got lucky with the injury in the first half.

    .

?? Created the 2 clearest chances in the first half. They had a very precise plan and executed it very well. lost 3 players to injury and were playing with an injured for the 2nd half

Liverpool were not dragged down to any level, they've been stuttering through games for weeks now. 0-0 against the form team in the league is not a bad result in the grand scheme of things.

That's salahs worst performance by a long way. Think they might need to consider being back the high press though and inject some energy and chaos

    2 points dropped for United.

It's a strange feeling where Man U fans are happy with the result and Liverpool fans are disappointed with the result that puts Liverpool top of the league and knocks Man U down to the Europa League positions.

Ya as i said they were poor, sloppy final ball. Liverpool of 3 months ago would have won that game 2 or 3 nil

Two points dropped by the PL favorites

Ref had a mare too, how milner was allowed stay on the pitch is beyond me

Utd had the best chances too. Liverpool lucky to get a result considering all the injuries Utd had

context, 3 subs used in 20 minutes int he first half. An injured striker who had **** all movemnt unless the ball was hit to him, no off the ball movement, united had the 3 best chances of the game. So yeah we were anxious before the game with injuries, feared the worst during with 4 injured players and yet still could of won

Thought it was a good point for liverpool tbh. They were dreadful today.
Our injury list is getting bigger, to soon to play lingard, hindsight and all that

Strange that despite United bringing them down to their level, despite it being the worst United side in 278 years, despite United looking like a midtable team, the premier league favourites and champions elect didn’t have one decent chance

    Says a lot

3 injuries, carrying Rashford and outplayed Liverpool for the second half. Their one shot on target was a 30 yard backpass from Sturridge.
Liverpool will be delighted with a point if they are honest.

Had ye two of Firmino, Salah and Mane injured (and the third on one leg) and those injuries in midfield, United would have fcuking mauled ye. And you’d be nowhere to be seen.

Isn't that what bringing someone down to their level means. Are you not proving his point.

Oh there's no context needed, that would have been the case beforehand. The build up was stopping Liverpool winning the league, OGS alluded to that beforehand.

So it's a weird result. Liverpool had their chance in the first half, second half was woeful.

Nil all sums it all up.

Klopp bottle job in full effect, Liverpool will look better again when they are out of it, 3 draws in 4 is really poor from and couldn't even lay a glove on Uniteds b team today

Love how Unoted fans fallimg over themselfs to some how make it an awful result for Liverpool
United where at home and got controlled from minite 1 to 90 ,
Liverpool 1 point clear in Feb all Liverpool fans will take that

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,333 ✭✭✭brinty

As a United fan I'm quite gutted with that result

Two points dropped rather than one gained, created the best chances, easily dealt with the fabled Liverpool front threesome

All whilst playing with ten men for 50+ minutes of the match and two players who've barely had a match this season in midfield

    Solskjaer outmanouvered Klopp with ease

Referee was poor and should've had a get shirt on he was so biased. How Milner stayed on defies belief

Ahh poor Rashford got tackled a lot give over Ole ,
Why u bring on Linguard very foolish son

Lack of rotation by Ole has caused all these injuries

United lost there best player of the match in mata.
Salah amd firmino were off it today. Liverpools weakness from thr bench really showed today

Dont forget no one expected this title push from Liverpool, there squad is light in creativity and forwards ,

One of United subs was the best paid player in the prem ,

Look, the Man U fans sang Ole's name as they watched their team drawing against Liverpool on their home patch. Seeing as this is the Man U V Liverpool thread, lets all come together as one and agree that OGS should definitley definitely get the Man U job.

    It's what we all want.
