Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    CLF
more important. I'm sure no one will be crying their eyes out on pitch if we lose 3 points today.

    What game was more important?

One against city in the Etihad

Tbf he was referring to PL only. Hard to disagree with him imo.

Henderson all the space to his left, plays Milner again. Geez. Milner hoofs it to left for him.

Some people seem to think if Liverpool lose today the title challenge is over, what a load of rubbish, there will be a few surprises in the league yet

One could argue that. Then again win here and it's a 3 point gap at the top with ten games to go. Arguably that makes it just as big, if not bigger.

Mikhitaryan with another assist, sanchez looks comfortable on the bench

Who are these people? Or is it just a generic comment for thanks?

Win at the Etihad and we'd be sitting 6 points clear with this to make it 9 , wins against direct rivals at that stage are far more important , it's true when the say 6 pointer

It's in relation to Martin Tyler comment on the importance of the game, if you read the few comments above it you would see it in context

Did Herrera not get booked for that? FFS

I was involved in the conversation. It is arguably Klopps most important PL fixture. I don't recall seeing anyone say that the title is decided today regardless of result.

    Bizarre conclusion to draw tbh.

    That's a joke if he didn't

Of course, but we're closer to the end of the season now. Overcoming one of the toughest teams away when you're on the final stretch of the title race is massive. Like Neville said earlier, if they'd beat Liverpool in March or April they'd feel invincible for the rest of the season. Win today and it will be tough for City to stop Liverpool taking the title.

Rashford looks in trouble now ffs.

    Liverpool looking good here.

Rashford now seemingly having to come off, or maybe Herrera

Both I'd say. We are goosed.

Can only see this going one way, at the moment anyway. Liverpool controlling it.

Fred still cant get on the pitch

Fred really must be struggling to settle in if he can't even get on when players dropping like flies in his natural position.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Ole must really think Fred is out of his depth if he won't put him on even in this scenario.

The amount of injuries reminds me of that dodgy curry Spurs had a good few years back. Bizarre stuff.

Fred is sh!te, it’s not rocket science. I think he scored a goal for them once and that’s about it.

Pause in the game so that the ref can get off with mctominay

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,794 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

I'd say a lot of these United players just wouldn't fancy this. There must be a real fear element here for them given how we are playing this year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Firmino with two broken legs would still do more work out there than Sturridge,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,258 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

bit of a shambles. if liverpool dont win this easily they dont deserve the league.

All the garlic on the pitch must be responsible for these injuries:)

Bizzare game this, ballsy call by klopp putting sturridge on obviously hoping he pings one from outside I guess.

Klopp believes in fighting fire with fire. Sees United rolling out loads of injuries so he brings on Daniel Sturridge.

True. It will be a massive, massive failure from top to bottom if LFC don't leave with all 3 points.

It's been pretty dull stuff so far. Tends to happen when Sky hype the hell out of this fixture.

Will henderson get to double figures for fouls before the ref gives him a yellow

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 23,230 Mod ✭✭✭✭GLaDOS

As dominant as Liverpool have been, united have been very comfortable at the back. Real lack of invention going forward.
