I was involved in the conversation. It is arguably Klopps most important PL fixture. I don't recall seeing anyone say that the title is decided today regardless of result.

Of course, but we're closer to the end of the season now. Overcoming one of the toughest teams away when you're on the final stretch of the title race is massive. Like Neville said earlier, if they'd beat Liverpool in March or April they'd feel invincible for the rest of the season. Win today and it will be tough for City to stop Liverpool taking the title.
