Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Omg Lingard

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Unreal by Allison there.

    And lukaku

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    Lingard crocked now.

At this rate United going to end up like that Italian lower league side who had to field 7 players recently.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,267 ✭✭✭The White Wolf

Jesus this is bizarre. Rivalry aside hope Lingard hasn't done serious damage by being rushed back.

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 23,230 Mod ✭✭✭✭GLaDOS

Stupid risk to bring Lingard on really

Huge mistake from Solsjaer to put on Lingaard

Ole at half-time looking for a wheelchair and some fake hands.

If Lingard felt ok and the doctors gave the go ahead for him to return then Ole was right to bring him on.

Robertson injures himself trying to foul Lukaku...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,925 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

The size of Lukaku he looks more like a heavyweight boxer than a footballer these days.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

Utd used all their subs before half time!

If we don't win this, there is something seriously wrong.

Despite been ripped apart by injuries before and during the game United have had the best two scoring chances. Says alot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

If this were wrestling you'd book City to interfere Stone Cold style early in the second half. It's been that sh!t.

United have looked the more threatening when they do attack tbh. Liverpool have been repelled quite easily and have created next to nothing.

No clear cut chances for Pool yet despite the possession dominance. Storm will likely come in the second half though.

Cann't understand bringing on Studge he is hopless at this level

    Liverpool have been awful

    United will take the draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,787 ✭✭✭✭Charlie19

Yeah for all the possession Liverpool has had, Utd are the ones that produced the better opportunities.

    Both teams deserves to lose.

    Terrible game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,578 ✭✭✭✭Turtwig

Despite the fact United are a walk in hospital, they've created the best chance in the game so far.

United look far more likely to score but game should.open up more 2nd half.

Thing is liverpool have no centre mid to create anything. Rely heavily on Firminio to link up play and hes gone too.

A glimpse into the United dressing room at halftime

More subs than shots on target apparently. Thought Fabinho looked the best player on the park. Lukaku having a good impact as well.

Poor spectacle yet I'd gladly take this result. Klopp should be demanding far more intensity as United are there for the taking. Can't recall De Gea having to do anything of note. Suspect Liverpool will improve in the second half.

Hopefully Liverpool's cynical fouling will be properly refereed in the 2nd half. Allowing them to go in late at will when there's no ball there could lead to more injuries.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

It has been a very disruptive game so far, no flow, stop start, no fluency . If Liverpool can actually improve and play football they'd win. United tight at back though, it's their only solid part of their team.

Thats exactly what we are seeing. Ole just another Maureen!

Utd may win this one out of no where but they look like a mid table team here. They look terrified.

Those injuries are going to come back to haunt United. Tiredness will creep in during the second half and I can see Liverpool getting a goal from somewhere to win this. Nothing much for neutrals to get excited by.

Ah jaysus, will you go away.

If Liverpool are serious about winning this game they need to get Salah on in the second half!

It must be great living in your own special world where Liverpool are all conquering and not beating a team with 3 subs used in the first half and rashford on one leg

I guess with Firmino off now it may not be such an issue as he's the main man for it usually.

Pogba looks at least awake this half.

Liverpool look a little rattled this half so far, United the better team since the restart.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Credit where it’s due, Man U fans are creating a super atmosphere in their calls for Ole to get the job full time. I hope they get their wish, they deserve it. Great atmosphere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,159 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Looks like Liverpool will get lucky again, all of these injuries.

If they don’t win the league with all of this luck they’re getting it will be viewed as a major slip up.

This pool team are soft, we've created 3 or 4 chances without 4 first team players and a one legged striker playing.

    Liverpool have been awful here

Weakened team to be fair (why else would Henderson even be on the field)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,794 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

United are pure poison here, as the game has gone on, we seem to have just sunk to their level. Not sure having Sturridge on either has helped us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Surprised it's all United atm. Need to make it count and get a goal as Liverpool will surely finish strong.

I think we're watching different games?

United only team looking like creating anything this half so far.

Football here is dire. Both teams misplacing passes all over the place.

Just in now and turned on the game. What the hell happened that everyone is gone off and now Rashford is limping now as well.
