Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    He was excellent in defence.

Collectively in first half the forwards were quite poor bar the two props

Plus POM. Our outstanding man today.

Poor display without a doubt but don't forget Wales couldn't get a bonus point there and the scoreline was practically identical, 15-26.

    How was it patronising?

Italy's back-up outhalf is never going to be a household name for his rugby.

That's a few times Italy haven't released at the back of the maul.

England did that constantly and got away with it, including for that Curry try. I have no idea why referees are letting them away with it.

One thing (which is killing Ireland lately)

Is there such a thing as keeping the gap at the lineout anymore??

Oh? What about winning games and tourney money?...not important now I guess... Joe should read your posts...to give himself a giggle

Is this worrying for the Italians?

I mean they put on decent pressure buy most of the scoreline us down to Ireland's mistake. Only POM and Dillane have had good games and they are still losing.
This is close to a worst case scenario for Ireland for me and barring a crazy 5 min this will go down as another "plucky loss".

It's exactly because of winning games and money that he should he sent back to Munster. He's not playing well and we'd have a better chance of winning without him.

But he clearly needs gametime, hence send him back to Munster.

Genuinely what is the point of putting Carty on at this point. Probably won't even touch the ball. **** way to get a first cap.

Cooney has upped the pace a lot since coming on.

Sexton fuming after being taken off

Fuming at the performance rather than getting taken off I'd guess.

POM MOTM, think he was definitely a candidate but Killer, Dillane or possibly Farrell could have gotten it too. And Earls obviously.

Cooney is playing much better now than Murray did.

Look, I get that a Munster man supports his players but you're a bit blind here. Everyone here has been saying how bad Murray is.

"Trying your best" isn't good enough when your best is ****e.

There's a fair chance it's being a poor performance when O'Mahoney gets Motm, seems to pick up a lot of them by default.

Sexton fuming after being taken off

Game performance I am guessing had not been right for a majority of the second half. Once he could not kick they should have decided on Carty

Fair play to Italy they are constantly improving.
