cronin throwing to two locks he has never played with, dillane his first start and roux his second start. it cant be all his fault......

id be bringing on flier and cooney to speed things up..
Its not excuseable for hooker to still mess up his primary duties like this and Cronin would have played with Roux with Leinster.
Lineout is primarily be his fault.

This is a joke? It is isn’t it?
Ireland are purposely doing this to crank up the pressure on themselves to see if they will be ready to compete in RWC pressure cooker

He threw over their head twice by a good foot or five.

2nd one was a poor lift. Didn’t get the jumper up properly at all.
Cronin ends up looking bad, but the lift was the problem.

    Our backrow has been awful.

POM has two turnovers. Taking lineout ball, no tackles missed.

He's playing well. Not brilliantly, but he's not a 'problem' like the poster that listed the jersey numbers. Kearney and SOB are stinking the place out.

Kilcoyne's carrying has been good, always looks explosive going into contact.

    That's your chance blown Cronin.

Fortunate penalty. Furlong should have been going to ground.

Is this all us or would an Italian team playing like this beat a Scotland or France?

It's us. Italy shouldn't get a sniff of a victory against a top ranked side. NZ could field a 4th string ABs and comfortably dispose of them. Hansen was clever when he labelled Ireland the world's best. He knew we'd struggle with that tag and here we are, playing like a side crushed by expectation.

That says everything about who Joe blames for the line out.

    That’s humiliating for Cronin

    Cheerio Cronin.

I love him at Leinster but he's stinking the place up.

No ref calls those that close.
Something I've screamed at the TV more than once.

    Be harsh to call now

Cronin off......not all his fault I think, but time for change.

I still think we’ll win and get bp, (maybe cause thinking otherwise is just not an option). But it’s a serious worry thinking a French team with their tails up comes next.

Cronin is a decent pro 14 player but not good enough at international level. Been shown up big time. Still confident that we'll win and get the bonus point

Ah we had the same one given from an earls knock on in the first half. The ref is just being consistent there at least

    A tap and go?????????!!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,079 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Better play from us there, good hands from Earls to try set Kearney away, Stockdale always makes metres

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

    Jordi Murphy has been anonymous.
Not making any meters in the carry

He's more than a decent Pro14 player. He's one of the best hookers in the world in the loose.

    We’re going nowhere here

    Edit: dammit earls haha

Well that was ponderous. But a try is a try.

    Italians defending very well.

Good by Earls we looked like we were going nowhere there. Come on now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,738 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Surprised the ref left that to play on considering there was an Italian player on the ground holding his head to the side of the ruck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,079 ✭✭✭leakyboots

    Murray kicking?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Sexton obviously not right either.

Much much better from Ireland. That was coming from 10 phases back, no messing, no over complications, just play it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,635 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

Earlsy has one. But it wasn't easy. What a contrast to earlier though. That was much better play for Ireland. It's great to see it.

Who is down on the pitch with the medics around him.

Well done Earls. Great feet. Deserves it. He has looked dangerous throughout.

Insane from Murray. His own team weren't alive to it. Pack it down and tie in 16 players with Chris Farrell on the field. Tap and go to was bonkers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    What's up with Sexton?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 204 ✭✭griffinlee

murray does look like he's been doing operation transformation and lost a few kg's

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Lucky enough there, the tap and go was silly. Too many players taking the ball standing still, you can't bully and barge your way over every time. Finally Earls comes with a bit of pace and different line and it pays off
