Was taking static photographs of this robin in poor light today when I noticed it attempt to try and catch something in the water. The robin repeated this a couple of times before it saw me and then flew off. When I looked at the photo’s at home I realised the robin was attacking its reflection in the flowing water. Photo’s not the best but never saw a robin do this before.

3 Grey Herons and what I think is a little egret in the tree tops enjoying the sunshine.

Found this fat lump in the garden this morning, saved it from 2 Magpies that where starting to harass it.

Took these shots a fortnight ago near Newgrange on the Boyne.
I wonder if thats a tracking device on the deer in the lower shot?
