New Wave you have an eye for details that no one else sees and the gift of being able to capture it.

You bring a smile to my face and a joy to my day with every post (and I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that!)

You should publish your work in a book or photography website. You have a unique gift that many would appreciate!

You are the epitome of mindfulness in nature...

Really great work. I'm glad I found this thread.
I could learn a lot from your work.

Goregous was he daytripping to Scove or is he a habitual. During lockdown I frequently see three regulars along the canal they each seem to stake their own Ce. I saw 2 today at seperate bridges but my camera no good.

I walk down there fairly regularly and have not seen him before, but I couldn't be sure, to be honest. My camera has a big zoom (Nikon P950), so I can be at quite a distance.

This is what he is after! Notice he's ignoring the squirrel feeder. Beautiful animal lovely to see them up close for a long period of time.

One from early September, taken at the the National Heritage Park in Wexford.
Great grey owl, beautiful bird but sad to see it and other birds of prey locked up in pens.

Metorite I saw a cormorant at the canal this morning on the bank beside the swans looking very zen in a drying position in winter sun. The usual canal birds I see are swans, ducks, gulls, pigeons, herons (new to me in 2020) and first time cormorant (usually I see them on cliffwalks)

Yeah that's where I got the picture of the Cormorant, seems to be it's territory at the moment and doesn't take too much notice of passers by. Great place for pictures.

Photographed over the weekend also in the same area.
