One of the resident starlings, i do enjoy listening to them on their perch mimicking other birds.
So far I've heard a crow, curlew, buzzard, hen, blackbird, duck, magpie, even a fox amongst other noises.

Meteorite I love the perspective of your Goldfinch in flight over the daisies he looks like a feathered butterfly.

I've two robins hanging around this week and I've noticed that one of them is able to do birdsong while not dropping the worm in his mouth

Thanks pottokblue. Interesting observing the birds and seeing their different personalities , some of the Robins are quite tame but I think the younger ones are a bit more stand offish, I do think the birds watch us too and get to know us and begin to trust us more with time.

I seen some scrape marks on the hedge very close to the house lately so I put up a trailcam expecting to see a badger or a little sika deer not this horse of a thing.
For perspective it's eyes would be at about my chin level. I know the resolutions not great but I'd love if anyone could I.D. the species for me

Hard to tell from the pic, but from the short tail and what looks like a white rump patch, I’m guessing a female red deer.

Wow it was only on Saturday that I found out we even have red deer in sligo. I just thought they were limited to kerry

3wayswitch I like the way one of the deer is pulling a raspberrry at you.
Lolie Bobby looks like hes unwilling to share his mealworm treat
