Yes, just 3 years ago. She was my manager and never saw someone to treat staff the way she did. Wrote a formal letter of complaint to senior management and my resignation. Best thing I've ever done.

Are you really good friends with any of work mates.

A few of my previous work mates!

    How do you de stress?

"When the Lord sent me Forth into the World, He forbade me to put off my hat to any man, high or low" (George Fox, the first Quaker).

I gave up being a Christian long ago, but that was easy. Fox lived in a time where people could lose their heads for denying the Churches. Yet he made it clear he'd never even take off his hat to them, whatever about his head. That was an incredible act of bravery.

Good question, right back at the next person

You looking forward to the weekend?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,095 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes, absolutely. But in fairness I am always looking forward to the weekend. Even during my 'career break' I was looking forward to every weekend.

What one line would summarize every school report you ever received?

Yes . Often do at inappropriate times . Laughed almost in someone's face once because he asked if I'm single and it just took me by surprise . Poor man looked hurt. Still feel guilty .

A cat was smarming up to my ex, being rubbed and fussed, then it got bored and went off, but stopped a few feet away and-honestly-it backed up a bit and casually peed on the back of my ex's funeral suited leg, right before he left for his boss's funeral. He's lucky I'm not vindictive , because he didn't actually notice it happening .I stayed calm and I fixed him up and then nearly ended up on my arse on the ground from laughing so much . He was late so he had no time to complain about me being Bloody Flippant (or strangle the cat).

Cats are excellent judges of character. ;)

Do you think animals can sense what people are like ?
