Yes, you can eat spuds without salt

Can you eat them without butter?

I could, but what'd be the point?!

Would you rather go 150 years into the past or 1000 into the future? You cannot come back.

I like to collect as many people as I can on any given day - then on sunday's I make the new additions perform for me and the others.
Usually it's a scene from a program I am watching. This week they we reenact Mary Kenny in the RDS visiting all the craft stalls at the Craft Show - Nationwide.

    Do you support Irish produce?

I do indeed. There's lots of high quality Irish produce. There's too much cheap ****e produced in places with awful wages and conditions.

    Do you have pets?

    Nope terrible at it.

    Do you Gamble?

    Nope terrible at it.

    Do you Gamble?

Yes, but only in things where I might have an edge due to information asymmetry between the bookies and me e.g. sports I'm interested in
Not in games of random chance e.g. lotto

Do you find Dubai an appealing travel destination?

  • Registered Users Posts: 140 ✭✭TimeUp

Sounds like a relaxing, safe enough destination, also like a nice place to learn Arabic.

On the other hand I tend to prefer places off the beaten track.

If you reflect back on your life, do you have more regret for things you didn't do that you think you should've done or the opposite?

@bob, yes, mostly cowardice reasons :).

Do you find Dubai an appealing travel destination?

It wouldn't be for me, based on what people, who've been there told me of it.

Would you consider a busmans holiday?

  • Registered Users Posts: 701 ✭✭✭bolgbui41

    Not in the slightest.

Would you ever avoid travelling somewhere/going on a holiday somewhere for ethical reasons?

I'm reluctant to go to Dubai for that very reason. A country built on slavery and oppression.

What is the best holiday destination you've ever been to?

I'm alright...gimme some forbidden pharmaceuticals which you may encounter in raves though and I can really cut a rug :D (accurate depiction of my face too)

Do you think you'll ever become set in yours ways? Why do you think some people view it as acceptable to stop bothering learning new things as they get old?

I think they prioritise new things... paying the mortgage, raising kids, and the space in your life for new things becomes more limited.

I imagine it’ll happen me some day too.

    Are you feeling philosophical?

No, my brain is too frazzled at the moment to ponder.

What color clothes do you generally wear?

Lots of black, some patterns like leopard print and tartan.

If everyone was safe and there was only time to save one thing from your burning home, what would it be?

My notebooks. Poems, stories, diaries, that kind of thing.

    Do you keep a diary?

I have various notebooks full of everything from business ideas and get rich quick schemes to gratitude lists, bad poetry and unsendable letters to my ex.

Are there former posters from here that you wish would return?
