It is living with someone who has done shift work for years, particularly when it's the week when the alarm goes off at 5.15. Not as bad as doing it though I'm sure.

    Yes!
It's called Autonomic Compelling Helio-Ophthalmic Outburst syndrome (ACHOO) , and some people who have it seem to think everyone has it, but if you have it too, you're special!

I've been waiting all my boards life to tell people that.

    What's your favourite fun fact?

Yeah, work shoes. It's definitely dying out though. Last time I looked for some in the local Spar the youngfella behind the counter looked at me puzzled. They've stopped stock it.

Have you ever canvassed for a political party?

iPhone. I deliberately avoided them for years but eventually caved. I still hate them in principle, but they're useful, practical and have some features that androids just don't have. Facetime, for example.

What's been your highlight of this week so far?

my daughter discovered where her nose is,and almost immediately copped-on to the fact that 'got your nose' tricks are nothing to be alarmed about.

I have very vague memories of crèche.

Mostly liberal. I believe that every man (or woman) is what they make of themselves, but that's not to promote individualism either. Communities are vital to progress.

Have you ever been a communist?

I haven't, I think communism is repressive on the individual, it's too early for this though.

How much time do you need after getting up in the morning before you are ready for work?
