Trá an Dóilín! Camped there one night, and the next morning, some woman knocked on our tent saying "Private Property" (we were communists back then and didn't care)

Have you had your first Bbq of the year yet?

At the moment, some crap movie on RTÉ+1 starring Cher... I think it's Cher.

    Can you hold a tune?

(I was so tempted to ask 'Do you believe in life after love?)

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

I believe I can. Few others believe it too.

If you could meet your fav musician alive or dead who's it to be?

Shane MacGowan. I met him once but he was drunk. We weren't trying to pester him, but I did ask him to sign a beermat at the very end. He was lovely and I'd like to thank him for being so cool and for spelling my name right without asking.

What moment would you like to relive, if possible?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

If it were possible the traversing of a continent. Magic times before Internet.

Love them. Bring back carrots and parsnips. Delicious combo.

I watched Warhorse about a week ago. Even though I've seen it a dozen times, I cry from the moment Joey (horse) pulls that plough into the soil, right to the very end.

A horse will do anything if they trust you, even if they think you're crazy. That's a beautiful thing.

    What's your favourite animal?

    A horse of course ;)

Have you ever gone for a gallop with a horse?

A gallop, no. A canter, yes

Is there ‘a horsey crowd’ where you live?

Maybe, but I hate the word horsey, it has all the wrong connotations. Makes me imagine some spoilt brats :pac: Most are farmers. Almost nobody gets rich from horses, those people are like hens' teeth.

    Black or white pudding?

    White, specifically galtee.

perhaps a little bit. But whether you're left or right, you're better off knowing what people really think.

Do you read any of the daily newspapers?

    Only online but yes.

Why are you awake at 3.29?

Why are you awake at 3.29?

I'm sadly awake at 7am because I have to go to work.

Do you ever struggle to find a question to ask the next person?

Live literally on the Waterford Greenway so will get out tomorrow hopefully (well worth into a look for those who have not heard of it)

Would you stand by the person/people you love the most if found guilty of murder or disown them? Say crime of passion for argument sake

I think I would, yes. A good mate of mine murdered someone, I've no contact with him now because obviously he's doing life. My only regret is that he had a very tough background, had pulled through a lot of sh*t through Martial Arts then threw it all away to murder a scumbag who would have been murdered by someone else anyway.

A loved one, God my stomach gets sick to think of that.

    Nope, mostly running.

    Q; Are you a parent?.

I am to three. 1 girl and two boys. Theyre grown up now and only 1 lives at home and even at that he's at college so we don't see much of him.
We see them all regularly though overall.

Are you doing anything that you hope at least one of your children will take over from you and carry on when you retire?
