Yes I have. Sometimes it's for the best.

Where have you slept that had you wondering if you'd survive the night?

Myself and some mates stayed in a hostel in London a good few years ago, 5min walk from soho. 3 nights for 6 of us in the height of the summer was cheaper than the next cheapest hotel for two people for one night. It should really have been a clue. It was basically a glorified homeless shelter with wall to wall junkies. We genuinely stayed out as late as we could and left as early as we could the following morning. Funny now but worrying at the time.

Were you ever in a situation where you feared for your life?

About 13 years ago, went on my first holiday away with just one friend and we went to New York. One night we were heading back to our accommodation and got on the wrong subway train and ended up on the wrong side of Harlem..... 2 white girls in a rough black neighbourhood with guys passing us asking us if we had a light and when we said no cursing at us, guys hanging out of cars with music blaring.....lets just say we didn't feel particularly safe....was glad to finally manage to flag down a taxi :o

On a lighter note, any plans for the weekend? :-P

    Yes

How would you rate the hospitality industry in Ireland in comparison to other countries?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 999 ✭✭✭NewRed2

I think it's actually on a par. It's the behaviour of the guests/customers that lets Ireland down.

What's the very first thing you thought of when you opened your eyes this morning?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,217 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    No work today

How long is your working week?

"who are all these beautiful naked women?"

Then I opened my eyes and sleep walked to the kettle.

Does you does, or does you don't take access?

I’m a full time (might as well be single)parent so it’s practically 24/7.
Are you having a holiday this year?
