Do we know who's actually taking charge of Leicester?

May also be considering a certain somebody in for Rashford!

    Vardy and Kun In
    Pea and Firmno out

    I think

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 470 ✭✭catrat12

Am I missing something surely auba starts against Bournemouth and Sergio an rotation risk if Jesus fit as played 120 mins yesterday and rashford might have no choice but to play

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,077 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

AWB and firminho out, TAA and vardy in with an eye on gw31. Leaves me with 6 players for gw31 but will get that up to 9 hopefully and then wildcard for gw32

The only thing that is making me think Higuain instead of Vardy is game in 31, game in 33 (a home one at that) and a DGW against Brighton to go with it.

The question however is will Chelsea v Brighton likely be part of a GW32 DGW? Because I'm planning to free hit that week I think, so I don't necessarily need to work that week into my plans at all.

Anyone tempted to give Duffy a look? I realise he's as many goals as clean sheets, but they've some lovely home fixtures. They blank in GW31 when I plan of FH'ing anyway.

And to top it off, one of their DGW's will be either:
    SOU/CAR
    BOU/CAR

What do people think of Demarai Gray at 5.4 mil?

Think Barnes is a better bet for just 0.1 more. That's if he keeps his place but there's no reason to think he won't, he's looked really good in the last few games. Gray hasn't been a very good ff option since he joined Leicester, lots of promise but no end product...so far.

Both are too risky now with a new manager

    Start Bennet or Anderson ?

    I’m already starting Doherty.

I’ve currently gone with Bennett but it’s a coin toss.

    Barnes in for Rashford

Havent a clue what to do this gameweek.
Banking to reassess and make 2/3 moves next weekend.

Will probably move on Camarasa at the weekend if there's no more news on his fitness.
Will be looking for cheap players that have a potential double in gw32 and a game in gw33.
    A glamour transfer.

AWB could also make way then for someone with a similar run in.

    Sane in son out

Sane in with the injuries to Laporte, Ferandinho the reshuffling of players backwards should see him start to get minutes added to playing against some lesser teams again and the more important players needing rotation.

A punt? why yes of course

Not feeling great about getting Vardy in last night now. I never feel great about him though.

It just makes too much sense with the potential Rashford injury. I'll be annoyed if Rashford plays now though as it never occurred to me that that might be a possibility.

A Barnes-Vardy-Jimenez frontline is something I never thought I'd see myself having.

Will use my wildcard this weekend.
Just brought in Anderson and Maguire (favourable fixtures)
Laporte and Fraser have departed, last of the Bournemouth lads gone.
Will struggle up front this GW.
    Jimenez Murray (75%) Rashford (50%)
    Not worth another hiit

    Anderson out shaquri in

Just realized half my team are injured..

Going to have to change everyone this week with free hit..

In the same boat here. Camarasa's been on the verge of coming back for ages, v annoying. Ideally I'd leave it til the weekend but fielding 11 this GW is looking a bit dodgy between injuries and Pep bingo so I might shift him out tonight, probably for Holbjerg.

Would get McNeil if I were you. Same price, more attacking threat & fixture in GW31 potentially 33 too.

I'm planning on FH in GW 31 so Southampton a better fit. Otherwise would be looking at McNeil alright.

Jesus did not part take in full City Training, Kun did.

    I'd be confident Kun starts.

Players pilling into him anyway, set for another price rise tonight.

    But this is Pep.........

Torn between taking a hit and banking...

Would take a hit to get Vardy in for Rashford but not sure I want to do that.

Might be time to reduce my reliance on Wolves so considering Jota out. Almiron is tempting me, feel like taking a punt.

If the above is true, I expect an Aguero start with Sterling benched.

Kun to play 60 and still be ok for the weekend.

    But Pep.

Front 3 is currently Jiminez, Rashford and Lacazette (or Jimmy, Rashy and Laccy as they might also now be called) :

    - I have the funds for Lacazette to Aguero
    - or I can get rid of Rashford for Vardy

I have no City coverage, could also go Son/Mane to Sane for a hit :(

    Any feedback at all appreciated.

Any time you can get Aguero in for free you do it.

What's the best option to replace Laporte for the next few weeks?

Currently have TAA, Robertson, Lindelof, AWB

I am looking at my team and thinking of not playing Hazard, a minus 4 to get Kun in and cover my rival looks too obvious....

    Hazard/Rashford to Kun/McNeil or Maddison?

Two free transfers, brought in walker and Jimenez, why do I have a feeling I've wasted it on the them?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,480 ✭✭✭shmeee

Aiming towards blank GW31 is key with transfers this GW, using 2 FTs on players who won’t feature in 31 looks a waste unless you’ve your chip strategy lined up to FH in 31.

Trying to get 11 playing this GW is proving a tough ask even as of now. Will be going right to the deadline with my decions incase any team new leaks etc.

I need to get Tripps out and Firmino and a few other red flags giving me a right headache.

I’m trying to get Pereira in! Great fixtures including 31 and 33.

Leicester are utter dog****. He had a good fixture at the weekend and conceded 4. Take a away a couple of assists over the last few gameweeks, and his numbers arent all that good.

Thinking of taking a -4 to bring in Sterling and Barnes (Burnley) for Son and Rashford. The other idea is the same players out but Aguer and. Barnes (Leicester) in.

Is Rashford to Jiminez for a -8 a silly move?

I'm assuming you mean and extra -4. Not a bad move if Rashford is definitely out and you've limited bench options. In which case you only need him to make up a -2.

I'm looking at Rashers to Vardy for a -4

Or trying to get Aguero in which would require 2 more transfers and therefore a -8.

Transferred in Zaha and Jimenez for Firmino and Llorente. -4

Similar fixture line up's, both Blank in 31 and 33.

Rashford could easily be back for the weekend, as Ole said today "that wasn't as bad as we first feared".

Have you 11 starters for tonight?

I'm all against hits unless 100% needed as making the 4 points back to get level isn't that easy.

    Team at the moment is
    Foster

    Shaw--VVD--Doherty

    Sterling--Pogba--Salah--Jota

    Rondon--Rashford--Aubameyang

First sub is Bednarek, which isnt the worst considering the opposition.

Your not in a bad position.

    Surely Auba starts.

Only thing now is your going to loose value in Rashford as set for another drop in price, again it depends what you got him in at.

And you've taken a -4 to get to that team I presume?

I'd personally go with it, you should have 11 starters.

Cheers. Yeah already on a -4 to get the above. I got Rashford at £7m (he was a punt that massively worked out) so I'd lose a chunk by selling him. Might stick with things as they are.

You've nice value built up in Rashford. I enjoy that punt now.

Roll with what you have now is my advice, these midweek GW's are a pure gamble, this could work out for you.

    I'm thinking a
    Success -> Barnes
    Matic -> Hayden

2 FT used and had 0.6 ITB to make the above work.

Hanging onto Firmino (breaking even on value with him now), will let it roll and need the 3 Liverpool players for GW31.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,469 ✭✭✭Shedite27

I've Firmino and Rashford, both sound out tonight. gonna hold Rashford as he's the one I'd want longer term.

    Firmino - Vardy for me.

Now debating AWB - Duffy for a -4. With Rashford, AWB and Niasse out tonight, any rotation and I'm down to 10 players, so I'm convincing myself it's really a -2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,851 ✭✭✭Cartman78

Aggy in for Laccy....probably about a month too late at this stage but better late than never I guess.

Thrown the armband on him as well ahead of Salah.

Will only have one sub on the bench so hoping for zero lineup surprises

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Decided to sell Rashford. Last time United were days away from playing PSG Ole rested him, and if he's got doubts about his fitness ahead of Southampton's visit then I could see him being on the bench again. In comes Jamie Vardy.
