I would hate to go see a band like Bring Me The Horizon because of the fanbase, just being around them would irritate me. I don't really like going to concerts that are full of young hipster people for example I am going to see the rapper from Linkin Park in 2 weeks and I know it will be insufferable having to spend 2 hours around millennials in London.

Jeez, this thread is nauseating. The point of this Gigs and Events forum is to get excited about acts you want to see. It's utterly pretentious.

After Hours is creeping into other forums.

Its quite a long list but honourable mentions to Mumford and Sons or Coldplay with banjos as I once heard them described.

    The entire Longitude line up
    Ariana Grande
    All country music gigs

Michael Bublé would be completely unbearable for me. His voice is like nails on a blackboard to me - everything he sings has an unbearably smug tone to it.

Otherwise I could never be in a mosh pit - I'm definitely not a mosher. So if I was at a metal gig (which is unlikely anyway as it's generally not my thing, bar a few possible exceptions) I'd have to be either seated or skulking in the back, hiding from the crowd. :o

Perhaps avoid it then if you get nauseated so easily.

This forum is ‘gigs and events’, not ‘great gigs and events’.

Kodaline - I don’t know what their singing about but it sounds like their singing about their dead cat or something! They did the NYE concert a few years ago and talk about boring..... an event that was supposed to be a party vibe, yet we were just reminded about the good times they spent on the beach with pebbles the cat before she got run over by an artic on the Swords bypass!

U2 - for the simple reason you’d be obliged to listen through so much of the newer crap just to hear a few of the classics.

    Madness- I f**kiñg hate Madness.

Any female act that deems it necessary to change outfit between EVERY F**KING SONG. Was at Beyoncé a few years ago (for herself), and it was more like a bloody fashion show than a music concert.

They're like that neighbour that gets passive aggressive when you cut their side of the hedge accidentally.

But i remind myself in the world there are positive often hilarious people that balance this out.

    Be at peace everyone ;)
