    Hello,
About to start some extension and renovation work soon. Would love to have a large picture window in the kitchen.
The current one is a pretty typical window of houses built 10 to 20 years ago, sink in the middle of the window, maybe 175cm wide, standard enough height etc.

Would love to turn this into a big picture window looking out to the back garden, maybe add 30 to 50cm to the width on either side would even love to raise the height as well so it goes up close to the ceiling, so to get something like a counter to ceiling effect.

Would this be a big job? Ie. Would you be looking at 1000s? Presume plinth etc would need to be replaced. We might be putting steel overhead anyway.

Will talk to the engineer in due course but just wanting to get some opinions at this stage...

    Thanks
